11/21/2008 - Senior forward Chris Salvaggione was named third-team TopDrawerSoccer.com's National Team of the Season. The National Team of the Season is what TopDrawerSoccer.com calls their All-American teams. Adam Gross Named ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American
11/19/2008 - Charlotte 49ers men's soccer junior midfielder Adam Gross (Dripping Springs, Texas) was named to the third-team ESPN The Magazine men's soccer Academic All-American team, selected by CoSIDA. Gross is the fourth 49ers men's soccer Academic All-American and the first since Jim Kunevicius earned his second Academic All-American honor in 1997. Read Full Release
Salvaggione Headlines The 49ers Five All-Atlantic 10 Selections
11/12/2008 - Five members of the Charlotte 49ers men's soccer team have earned All-Atlantic 10 honors. Senior Chris Salvaggione was named A-10 Offensive Player of the Year. Salvaggione also earned first-team All-Atlantic 10 honors for the second consecutive season. Junior Adam Gross earned honorable-mention All-Atlantic 10 honors. Freshman Evan James and Charles Rodriguez were named to the A-10 All-Rookie team. Junior David Martin and Gross were named to the A-10 Academic All-Conference team. Read Full Release
